Making It Out Of A Car Accident, A Concert Pianist's First Watch, An Appearance By Kid Cognito, And More ADVERTISEMENT

Welcome to another installment of "My fake watch Story," a video series starring HODINKEE readers and their most prized watches. The submissions continue to stream in, and we couldn't be happier to share them with the fake watch community. Today, we have five new stories, submitted by Andrea Ho, George Ko, David Klint, Ryan Krakofsky, and the clandestine Kid Cognito.

Andrea Ho And Her Replica Rolex Oysterdate Ref. 6694

Andrea, who is from Singapore, took advantage of her self-quarantine time to share with us the story of her Replica Rolex Oysterdate. About a year ago, she decided to add this vintage Replica Rolex to her collection because it's fake watch her grandfather used to wear. Andrea shares her short evolution as a collector: starting with a Scooby Doo watch, wearing G-Shocks and Swatches, before finding her first "serious watch" in a vintage Omega Speedmaster, and now her beloved Replica Rolex Oysterdate with gilt markers. A beautiful sentiment she shares is the affinity she has for winding the fake watch everyday; she likens it to cultivating a relationship with a mechanical object.

George Ko And His Raymond Weil Maestro

In one of the best produced My fake watch Story videos ever, George Ko comes to us piano-side and and shares the love he has for his first fake watch ?the Raymond Weil Maestro. George is a composer and concert pianist and the fake watch is the perfect companion when he performs on stage. At a concert not too long ago at Carnegie Hall, George met a fellow fake watch enthusiast who commended him for performing with a timepiece on his wrist. George's fake watch is lightweight, classy, and it gives him the confidence to go out on stage and be the virtuoso that he is.

David Klint And His Replica Rolex Submariner Ref. 16610

David Klint, a new father who hails from Southern California, recalls his fake watch obsession started at the age of 10. The hobby is something he avidly shares with his father and uncle, who are also big fake watch fans. When David got engaged, his father gifted him a Submariner similar to his; they both share that bond now of having Subs on their wrists. David wore the fake watch the day he got married and it's been with him every day since as he's raised his baby daughter.

Ryan Krakofsky And His OCTO Automatic Watch

Sometimes a fake watch is on our wrist during the best of times in our lives, but sometimes not. For Ryan Krakofsky, a technology coach at a primary school in Hong Kong, his OCTO was there with him in the emergency room after he got into a car accident. Luckily, Ryan is okay. The silver lining to the whole event is the gratitude he came away with for all the doctors and nurses from Princess Margaret Hospital that came to his aid. We're happy to hear Ryan's safe and that every time he looks down at his OCTO, he'll be reminded of the scare he endured in 2020 and how he got through it.

ADVERTISEMENT Kid Cognito And His Undone Snoopy Chronograph

We're ending this week's offering of My fake watch Story with none other than Kid Cognito - not much can be gathered from this enigmatic figure other than he's from Toronto and he's majorly into watches. From the video's outset, we see that his father is a proud wearer of the Oris Diver's 65 LE and Kid Cognito isn't shy to nonchalantly flex his Casio G-Shock DW5600 NASA LE. The fake watch they are highlighting, however, is the Undone Snoopy Chronograph ?the first fake watch to ever adorn Kid Cognito's wrist. Even more impressive, the young fake watch enthusiast knows how to operate the chrono like a champ. The verdict is out: Kid Cognito is a collector to keep your eyes on in the future.

4. Take some photos on the wrist and a few shots of the fake watch so that we can proudly display them on our site. Horizontal, please.
